I like the scene where Kyousuke shouted to his father about his love for imouto eroges and was punched. he was actually defending Kirino when her eroge was found by their father. haha. that's the best scene for me. kyousuke for the win xD

Start with it was an iffy one a couple years ago. Brook showed it to me at one of our anime nights for our friends or Yashoku as we’ve come to know them. Anyway, I watched Oreimo and thought “Welp. Incest. Ha.”
Skip to the present day and it’s my favorite anime series. I’m not getting into that now, but I’ll probably touch on that eventually. I’m dealing with the ending today. I watched the entire series with my roommate, and couldn’t wait for the series finale come August 17th. Kuroneko had become my favorite Anime character out of all series by this point, and I expected Kyosuke was likely to choose her after he rejected His Angel Ayase. Prior to the finale, I got my friend started on Oreimo, and actually rewatched the entire series with him in a couple weeks. Him, my roommate and my other friend all got together that night to see what would happen. I love Oreimo.

Kyousuke, résolu à rentrer dans le moule et à mener une vie minable dénuée d’intérêt, découvre que sa petite sœur, avec laquelle il a du mal à s’entendre, possède une passion pour les animés et les eroge. Démasquée, Kirino se trouve bien évidemment embarrassée, la tolérance de la société nippone lui promettant d’abréger sa vie sociale si ces informations étaient révélées. Elle va donc conclure un pacte avec son frère afin de lui faire garder le secret. Fougueuse, elle en profitera pour lui faire croquer le fruit défendu (je parle des eroge).

As a child, Kyousuke Kosaka was really close with his little sister, Kirino. He was her strong, capable brother that she loved and loooked up to, and he was more than happy to fulfill that role. He eventually stopped hanging out with her, because he was getting older, and he felt that being that close would be lame. From that point, he became shiftless and lazy, while she began throwing herself into her academic and extracurricular activities.
